We started the day with our etiquette activities, doing mini infomercials on how to be gentlemenly, or lady-like. We were given some time to go over them and so me and my group which consisted of; Me, Connor, Jack and Henry decided to go over what we had already done, we had previously done 3 parts, we had done a small sketch on Dancing etiquette, what you should do as a gentlemen during those days to ask a lady for a dance, we then went onto a sketch on what to do if a lady is without an umbrella whilst it rains, and what you should do as a gentlemen, and finally, a sketch on what to do if an elderly person walks ahead of you, and how you should be patient, whilst if there's a patch of water/ice you should accompany the elderly or a lady across it in case they slip.

After the morning, we had learnt a dance that we're going to use for the Ballroom scene in Little Women, we first had to place palm against palm and walk in a circle with 7 counts, on the 7th count you'd turn and switch hands, repeating until you face each other, and then you place palms against palms again except your palm should be facing you. So you step in once, and dip your knees slightly, before stepping out, twirling them under your arm as you swap places, and grab their hand using your free hand. We were talk this initially and I recorded this segment whilst also celebrating when we managed to it.

However after recording we were taught new parts, where we first had to sway in place first, stepping to the side and back again, before spinning outwards and repeating, and then going back into the cycle. We were also taught that after spinning our partner around, we'd pull them in closer, hip to hip, placing your hand on their hip whilst holding their hand, and walking in a circle, before spinning them out a final time, walking them back to wherever they came from, and then proceeding away yourself.

Overall today, I actually had a lot of fun, I thought I'd have dread it and whilst I was dripping with sweat, I had a lot of fun doing it, I'm surprised by how much I had and how interesting it is to learn about how different our time is from back then.
