 I spent the day in the tech box, setting lights, I don't know how to do a macro just yet but we have a student from HE coming in to help, the days gone pretty slow but by figuring out which light is which I'm able to time the brightness and which lights does what which is good!

However given that ash was doing it herself until lunch, I decided to aid marketing, as it's fallen flat a little, so I took a lot of photos from the box, and two videos of them doing their piece. All in all it went pretty well, the photos are good an I'm happy with the outcome.

The HE student later cane to help me, ash went home after their English lesson so I had tech to run all by myself. She showed me how to make the macro and make it so that with just pressing one button the lights sort themselves out, but it still means I've got to map it out myself, before Thursdays first show considering after that it's ash's responsibility, it may be due to change sure but for now I have the pressure of making sure lights are done before Thursday morning and that I can actually properly do them during the show too. It's a lot of pressure as this is the first time I'll have ever been a lighting operator and it's also during the main casts show, Kelly's cast, which is scary as is, let alone the fact she'll be sat next to me. I hope I don't disappoint, it's a learning experience for me, all I can hope is I don't mess up.
