09/06/2022 My First Theatre Rehearsal Blood Brothers

 I got to college early in the morning yesterday compared to normal because Aaron wanted to practice some singing, so we spent the morning before my maths class rehearsing some songs from Blood Brothers. I personally enjoyed it despite thinking I wouldn't because whilst I don't believe I am a good singer, I was surrounded by people I like being around and It put me in a good mood so whilst singing I just wanted to dance. I didn't make myself the centre of attention I just did small dances with a friend while we sang and I actually had a good time. After Singing we began the rehearsal, I quickly put my suit jacket on because I didn't have time to get fully changed, but It still worked as it was a rehearsal and not everyone was in costume. I made very good progress, I surprised myself because I thought I didn't know my queues as well as I did but I do! I nearly forgot some lines and panicked while on stage but kept it hidden, and luckily I remembered in time. And did the line. I've been corrected on my positioning and given music queues for when I should come on stage, which I would like to work on more but I don't think I'll be able to as I'm filming more on Friday and It's not my cast rehearsing. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to have another full run-through before our show on Wednesday to practice my queues so that I don't screw up.

Overall, I'd say I'm prepared for Wednesday, I just need to work on my timing on stage and remember where I'm placed on the scene so that the lighting still works.
