Make a Change film
We started filming at around 10 in the morning in a small room that's similar to a living room. It was actually the same room we used for the Christmas Adverts we made in December. We were told we had till Half 3 to film and so we started. I play the main character called Frank, who's bored of his life and wants a change in it, the other characters include George, Franks friend who just got out of jail on parole and Billy, who's a contact of George for body removal. We went through the scenes and made sure that we could actually get through them cleanly enough to perform it, so we did a read through and rehearsal before we started filming just to be sure. Once we did that, we began filming what would probably be the hardest scene to film simply because of communication. George, played by Jamie, was behind the door and we had some failed takes because the delay between my last line and Jamie's was just too big before he knocked on the door. So we had to redo it and made sure that Billy, played by Tom, would message Jamie for his queue to knock which ended up working.
The plot about Make a Change is Frank, bored of his event-less life wants a change to make it more exciting and fun. So he plans to rob an old man who lives above him in the flat called Mr Peterson, but it goes backwards and Mr Peterson shoots Frank, and without thinking, Frank kills Mr Peterson. Now with a much worse situation ahead of him instead of breaking and entering, he can get done for murder. Which is where Frank storms back into his flat room and admits to George what happened. This is where Billy is introduced through a contact. They all talk before Billy fetches the body and dumps it into franks front room. And now he has a bigger dilemma. The film is a comedy that I really like the script of. It's funny and It's also a bit chaotic. The Script goes from Franks normal life to a bit dramatic to full on chaotic with George, Billy and dead Mr Peterson.
