13/05/2022 & 14/05/2022 Captain Confident Film

 We started filming Captain Confident at around 10:15am, some people met up at College to get driven to our film location but I was dropped off. The film is about a guy called Alex, who gets broken up by his girlfriend, Emily, after which he sprints to his room to cry once she leaves when his old imaginary friend appears in the form of a superhero, the Hero then helps him learn that he doesn't need him anymore and that he just needs to believe in himself if he has the confidence he can get through it. He doesn't need Emily to survive. We started by filming the scenes with Alex and Emily because Emily was only needed for one day, we went through each scene, albeit slowly because we kept having some mishaps with audio, and sound in general with us sometimes laughing. It was fun, even with the mishaps and occasional interruptions we got everything we needed to be done in the time we had.

We met up at Sams again, at 10am before going to a park around the corner from his house, where we walked around for a bit before finding the perfect bench to sit at, there was plenty of space around it, including behind, and a lake in front with wild-life. We started the shots with me walking down the path towards the bench as I looked out towards the scenery, smiling. This takes place 6 months after the breakup with Emily and Alex is doing miles better. After which We took a scene of me sitting down through a photography ball to flip it upside down for more mood. A few seconds pass as Alex calmly looks around, before his imaginary friend, The Hero, shows up again. As they talk for a little bit, the hero tells him that he needs to go because he's regained faith in himself and that The Hero was just his confidence personified by him as a child, at which Alex stares at him as he gets up, The Hero saying he doesn't need him anymore before he walks away. Alex is seen looking at him walk before a few seconds pass and Alex looks back at the scenery, smiling calmly.
