02/03/2022 & 24/02/2022

I was ill for two weeks before half-term and came back on the 24th due to a chest infection and my GP not allowing me to go into college. However, over the time I was off, I learned just over half my script, and came back ready to perform. I didn't use my script until the point I knew I struggled at, and even then I only used it as a crutch. That night, after messing up a couple of lines, I went back to learning my script. I learnt the duologue between me and the character skin, and I learnt the interaction blister has with desk. It took some time, but I now know all my lines, I'm still working on queues and my blocking because I'm struggling at little with my positioning. I'm trying not to block other people out of the scene, whilst also keeping my back away from the audience.

For the past week we have been rehearsing the scene, getting our spacing, stagecraft, diction and projecting correct by constantly going over the same scenes and doing run through's of the entire show to see if there's anything out of place or off, I just need to work on my blocking and making sure that I'm not in the way of anyone and making sure my back isn't towards the audience. I'm confident with my lines and I'm working on my Queue's towards the coming show so that I'm still on top of it and refined when the time comes.
