We learned about self-tapes and how important they are in the industry, and thus we were told that our auditions would be a little different. First, we were told we needed self-tapes to audition, instead of coming in person, and secondly, we were told there'd be only one cast. Only one cast is marginally different to the shows I've currently been in, that always has two. This is because Kelly, my teacher, likes to please people and hates the part about her job that disappoints people. The cast lists. We were supposed to get it on Monday, but they couldn't decide on who to make what role. So we had to do an improvised scene, going into small groups of people who wanted what roles. I auditioned for a character called Blister, out of the 7 main roles. Blister a thug and a bully, which is largely different from the roles Kelly and everyone else have seen me play, apart from in films. But In rehearsals, this is the first time I've played a serious character. After the scene, it was time for lunch and that's when our day was over.

Come Tuesday, the cast list still wasn't out. So instead of doing improvised scenes. We were put into similar groups and had to perform a scene from the actual script. During the 20 minutes, I and the group worked together to make, what I believe to be, a pretty good scene. After we performed it, and everyone else performed there's. We were told to play some warm-up games as the teacher worked on something. Around 10 minutes pass and we're told to sit down near them. He tells us that if our names are read out, we're in consideration for the part. He starts saying the list and I start getting anxious. Until he says my name, and my anxiety Is replaced with relief. Then Lunch starts and we leave to go to the tutorial where after our day ends.

That same night, we get a message on teams, as it were, It was the cast list. I read it, nervous once again. And notice I got the part, my anxiety instead, replaced with Happiness. I may have gotten speaking parts in the other shows I've done, but this is the first time I've gotten a part that was classed as a main part, that both doesn't go off quickly and doesn't leave as early as they came on.

Today was the first rehearsal, and I had a lot of fun portraying Blister. Kelly told me she gave me the part because I portray the character differently to the other people who wanted it, in a way that she liked. She also thought that it would be a good opportunity to see what I'm like as a serious role that I fit than a comedic role that I fit. And I am quite excited to prove to her that I can do it, and hopefully put me in consideration for other roles that are similar to Blister.
